I have seen this 1957 Chevy Bel Air sitting since 1996, but I have never seen it run. For decades, I’ve dreamed of working on it and bringing it back to life. Now I finally have that opportunity. This ’57 belongs to my brother Joe, who’s owned it for about 20 years and has always dreamed of driving it. Seeing his excitement when he comes up after work to check on my progress means the world to me. Helping my brother finally enjoy his car makes this revival especially personal. The car was last driven in 1983 and parked in 1984. After 42 years of sitting, the years have not been kind. The decay is obvious, and rats and mice have turned this classic into a rodent condominium. What’s waiting for us under the hood? What will it take to bring this forgotten Chevy back to life? Join me as we dig into the problems and work to save this 1957 Bel Air. It deserves another chance. At Titan Customs, we bring forgotten cars and trucks back to life and build one-off customs. Whether it’s old-school horsepower or modern power in classic iron, we build it. Revivals, restorations, big-block builds, drivetrain swaps, and custom fabrication—it’s all part of what we do. Keep It Alive.
