Kapunan: Sara’s guns point to wealth ‘pattern’

Private prosecutor Lorna Kapunan defends the presentation of gun records in Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial, saying the firearms linked to the official and her husband, Mans Carpio, should have been declared in the statements of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALNs). In an interview with Rappler, Kapunan says the issue is not the P7-million value of the firearms but what she describes as a possible pattern of undeclared assets, which the prosecution says is relevant to the unexplained wealth allegation against Duterte.
