A symposium from the AI Trust Forum London, 1 October 2026. What makes a strong client-partner relationship in the AI era? Lucy Bourne of Oaka Studio sets out what organisations should expect from an AI partner, and what partners must become to move clients from experimentation to sustained value. The talk is designed as a mirror for partners and a scorecard for the clients choosing them. In this session: The barrier is organisational, not technical: in the research cited, 95% of generative AI projects showed no measurable P&L return, and only 22% had scaled beyond one business unit Partnering pays: generative AI returns an average of $3.70 for every $1 invested, and services partners earn $8.45 for every $1 customers spend with them (IDC) Seven traits of a future-ready partner, including putting the business first, staying deliberately narrow, offering packaged services and being judged on delivery. Clients should ask what they can measure at 30, 60 and 90 days "It will not be the most technically capable partners that thrive. It will be those that adapt." - Lucy Bourne Speaker: Lucy Bourne, Director, Oaka Studio:   / lucyalicebourne   The AI Trust Forum is an invite-only Fellows programme convened by Cloud Lighthouse.
