Prayers & Blessings Paul I Do Not Understand Verse 1 Abraham could not understand Why God asked to sacrifice his son; But he trusted and a ram God provided Then he saw God’s glory in it all. Joseph could not understand Why God asked years of imprisonment; But he trusted, God ordained leadership Then he saw God’s glory in it all Chorus We do not have to understand All His ways with us. He does not expect us to understand All His ways with us You would not expect a child To understand his father's ways Some day you will see the glory of God In all the things you do not understand Verse 2 Moses could not understand Why God schooled him in the desert But he trusted; led Israel to freedom. Then he saw God’s glory in it all John could not understand Why Jesus would not rule! But he trusted; lame walked, blind saw Then he saw God’s glory in it all Chorus We do not have to understand All His ways with us. He does not expect us to understand All His ways with us You would not expect a child To understand his father's ways Some day you will see the glory of God In all the things you do not understand Verse 3 You say, I do not understand Why God would let a love one be taken. Why God would allow sickness to wound me When will I see God’s glory in it all You do not understand Why God bars you from plans which seem good Yet trust Him, and at last you’ll see Then you’ll see God’s glory in it all Chorus We do not have to understand All His ways with us.
