Lord, Show Me What to Do Today | Morning Prayer for God’s Direction

Start your day with this morning prayer for God’s direction, wisdom, and clarity. If you are facing an important decision, feeling uncertain about what to do next, or afraid of making the wrong choice, bring it before God before you move. Sometimes the hardest part is not caring too little — it is caring so much that you become afraid of choosing wrongly. Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” This prayer is for the moments when you need God to show you the next step. Pray for wisdom in: • work and career decisions • financial choices • family matters • difficult relationships • open and closed doors • conversations you need to have • opportunities that seem good but may not be right • situations where you need to wait instead of rush • moments when fear or pressure are affecting your judgment Ask God to help you recognize the difference between a good opportunity and a God-directed opportunity. Ask Him to close the wrong doors, strengthen you to walk through the right ones, and give you patience when the next step is not yet clear. Psalm 32:8 says: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.” James 1:5 reminds us that when we lack wisdom, we can ask God, and He gives generously. You do not need the entire map today. You need the next faithful step. Let this be your prayer: “Lord, show me what to do today, and give me the courage to obey You when You make the way clear.” If this prayer speaks to you, write: “Lord, direct my steps.” If you have a prayer request, share it in the comments. We would be honored to pray with you. Draw near to God, one morning at a time. #MorningPrayer, #PrayerForDirection, #ChristianPrayer, #GodsGuidance, #PrayerForWisdom,
