September 13, 2026 Our Guest: Sr. Immaculate Tusingwire, MMS from Uganda, Africa The Seasons of Creation 2026, as we reflect on this year’s inspiring theme: “Living Waters.” Water is one of the simplest gifts of creation, yet it is among the most precious. We encounter it in the rain that nourishes the earth, in rivers that sustain communities, in springs that give life, and in the seas that connect nations and ecosystems. Water reminds us that creation is not merely something we possess—it is a gift entrusted to our care. In Scripture, water carries a profound spiritual meaning. It speaks of creation, renewal, cleansing, baptism, and life itself. The prophet Isaiah gives us a beautiful invitation: “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters.” And in the Gospel of John, Jesus speaks of water as a sign of the life that God continually offers us. Yet today, many of the waters that give life are under threat. Rivers and seas suffer from pollution. Communities experience water scarcity and flooding. The effects of environmental degradation are felt especially by those who have the fewest resources to respond. Therefore, “Living Waters” is more than a theme. It is a call to conversion, responsibility, and hope
