A Quiet Rainy Day in Hanoi | Market Shopping, Cooking & Simple Life in Vietnam

Today is my day off from work, so I take things a little more slowly. I start the day by doing some light cleaning in my children's rooms before heading out to the local market. I want to find a few comfortable and loose clothes to wear to work. Hanoi has been having a lot of rain lately, and although the weather is humid and wet, I actually enjoy this kind of atmosphere. Everything seems to slow down, and the city feels quieter and more peaceful. At the market, I take some time to film the colorful fruits and fresh vegetables, browse through the clothing stalls, and try on a few outfits. I also come across some beautiful traditional Vietnamese ao dai and capture a few moments to share with you. Just when I'm ready to go home, the rain suddenly becomes very heavy. The whole market seems to be caught in the downpour. I wait for quite a while, hoping the rain will stop, but eventually I decide to put on my raincoat and ride home through the rain. Back home, I prepare a simple and cozy lunch for myself — just fried eggs and a bowl of soup. Sometimes, a quiet meal at home is all we need after a rainy day.
