(Goodbye Forever C151!!) SMRT KHI Carriages 3005 + 3006 + 2016 Heading to be scrapped

Filmed on 25 September 2026 at 19:24 Hours On this day 2 years ago, SMRT faced its biggest disruption in history. C151 065/066 suffered a axle box fault that caused the train to "Derailed" before entering Ulu Pandan Depot. This cause a major delay on the east west line in the west side. The derailed car 2065 hit the third rail that caused a power trip. There were trains stalled between Dover and Jurong East in both direction. 2 C151's 081/082 and 105/106 were stuck at Clementi. They did managed to bring the affected train into the depot few days after. The 2 stalled trains were then pulled by locomotives. The following year... 366 days after the incident... 26 September 2025 marks C151 final day of revenue service. Making this the end of an era. Today, carriages 3005, 3006 and 2016 are being sendoff. C151 005/006 carriages 1005, 2005, 2006,1006 were send off in January 2026 while carriages 1015, 2015 were send off a week ago. It was historical to see 2 body C151 cars.
