The Steetley Pier. That is in Hartlepool, in North East England. One Source says, this is the Crimdon Beach, but it is maybe also called North Sands. - Now, here it is, and it is 2000 Feet long, and it's no longer in Use. Now, what was it used for. They pumped up Water, there one can see 2 Big Pipes, and they had Pumped up Water, to the Steetley Magnesia Works. Here on the Dunes, there was everything full of Industry, and they pumped up Water, to get out of the Water the Magnesium. They were producing 250 K Tonnes of Magnesium every Year. And they used that Magnesium, to treat therewith Steel; to remove Sulphur from the Steel that makes the Steel better. And that is what they did here, they were bringing in here Water. And it was build in the 1960s. Here was already a lot of Steel made during the Second World War. It was closed in 2005. And here, some People have set Fire onto it; and on many of the other Pillars as well. There are 7 of these big Pillars (on the Top of it), 12x12 Inches. And they removed the Middle Section there, (let's try to see it from somewhere) - because People were walking onto it, and were falling down - so they removed it. So, they were bringing in Water to the Steetley Magnesia Works. The Steetley Magnesia Works, they had also 20 km West by Coxhoe a Quarry to make Dolomite. And here is the Place. So, they brought in Water, from the Sea to the Steetley Magnesia Works, all that here was full of Industry in the 1960s - and they took the Magnesium out of the Water, to treat therewith Steel, to remove the Sulphur from the Steel, to make better Steel. And here it is; and it was closed in 2005; so I think that it is eroding quite fast here, in particular if People are setting everywhere Fire onto it. But, for now it's Still Standing here; and it is making here actually a little bit Shadow.
