From Seeds to Stories: People of the Mangroves | MERS

As an applied research center, we explore the relationship between people and the land they depend on. Through the Mangrove Ecosystem Restoration Solution (MERS) project, we go beyond planting 50,000 trees for climate action to promote sustainable practices that restore ecosystems, support communities, and preserve a living heritage for generations to come. This International Day of Climate Action, we celebrate the people responsible for the planted seedlings that will grow into the Red Sea mangrove forests of the future. #Mangroves #NatureBasedSolutions #ClimateAction #EcosystemRestoration #CommunityConservation #RedSea #Egypt #BlueCarbon #ClimateResilience #Biodiversity #Sustainability #Restoration #CARES #AUC #MERS
