Sleepy Hollow Ambience | Ichabod's Attic Room | Wind, Owls & Distant Hooves | 1 Hour

An attic under the eaves in Sleepy Hollow, and a horse walking on the road below. One hour of quiet dread for sleep, reading and focus. Ad-free downloads of this and 400+ more hours:   / armchairambience   Ichabod Crane boards where he teaches, and tonight that means a borrowed attic under the eaves. One oil lamp, moonlight on the boards, cobwebs in the rafters, and the woods pressing up against the house. Owls. Wolves somewhere a long way off. Leaves turning over at the window. And out on the road, every so often, a horse walking. Nothing arrives. Nothing is explained. INSPIRATION: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Washington Irving, 1820 AMBIENCE: night forest, wind in the trees, creaking timber, owls, distant wolves, leaves at the window, a horse walking and snorting on the road below MUSIC: low woodwind chords, a sub-bass drone that swells and fades, and sparse ethereal clusters for tension All music and sound design composed and performed by Seth Imming. An original ambience piece inspired by Washington Irving's 1820 story, which is in the public domain. No film footage, music or audio is used. No mid-roll ads.
