Totality @ Destruction Under the Stars 8/15/26

originally was going to try to make this an edited event recap, but i probably should learn how to edit first lol lots of takeaways from this event, this is now totality's 7th comp and sufficient to say it's improving! lost to fission twice in the end so i can't really be upset... this thing drives beautifully now (who knew having a rigid drive rail would be a good idea), weight budgeting was much better for v4 + 4s upgrade proving to do miracle work. i'm a lot more confident with this robot and i can see it actually becoming competitive things i need to change for ocmf: better upright mounting with smaller, undersized pilot holes, in hopes that they won't yank out again magnet mounting was subpar, threading plastites into the tpu frame worked in the past, but for some reason part of the print is coming out with the thread, so i'll need to address it either with a new mounting system or a print change longer forks cuz why not, i finally have the weight remove the front vents on the top plate, i had them there bc at the time i didn't have a clue where the escs would lay (for the power led) and they seem to just make the plate weaker livestream footage is not mine and is from the SCAR youtube channel    • SCAR - Destruction Under The Stars   thumbnail photo by   / augnosmedia
