嵐山 展望台 Arashiyama Observation Deck

北海道旭川市と鷹栖町の境界近くに位置する「嵐山公園」。その山頂にある嵐山展望台は、旭川市街地から大雪山連峰までを見渡せる絶好の眺望スポットとして、地元住民や旅行者に親しまれています。 旭川八景にも選ばれる展望台に立つと、眼下に広がる旭川の街並みと石狩川のゆったりとした流れ、そして背景にそびえる雄大な大雪山連峰を一望できます。四季折々に表情を変える自然と都市のコントラストは圧巻です。 ただ展望台までの道は未舗装の1.5車線とアクセスが良いとはいいがたく、夜景のスポットとして紹介されることもありますが夜間は照明が全くないため、夜景観賞に慣れた方以外にはあまりおすすめは出来ません。 "Arashiyama Park" is located near the border between Asahikawa City and Takasu Town in Hokkaido. Situated at its summit, Arashiyama Observation Deck is cherished by locals and travelers alike as a prime viewpoint offering sweeping vistas of Asahikawa's cityscape all the way to the Daisetsuzan mountain range. Standing at the observation deck—selected as one of the "Eight Views of Asahikawa"—you can take in a panoramic view of the city unfolding below, the gentle flow of the Ishikari River, and the majestic Daisetsuzan mountains towering in the background. The contrast between nature and the urban landscape as it changes from season to season is truly breathtaking. However, the road leading up to the observation deck is an unpaved, 1.5-lane road, making access somewhat challenging. While it is sometimes introduced as a spot for viewing night lights, there is no lighting at all after dark, so it is not particularly recommended for visitors unless they are well-accustomed to night-viewing conditions.
