Tour du Mont Blanc Day 2: Bellevue to Les Contamines | A Swinging Bridge, 2,038 ft Up

Day 2 is where the Tour du Mont Blanc starts asking for something back. First lift up to Bellevue (1,798 m), down through the trees to the Bionnassay suspension bridge over the glacier torrent, then the first big climb of the trip to the Col de Tricot (2,120 m). Steeply down to the Chalets de Miage for a long homemade lunch, up again over Le Truc, and the slow descent into Les Contamines.
