CYP Nursing 'Sepsis Escape room'

The 'escape room' concept is being creatively used in children and young people's nursing to support simulated learning of the 'golden hour' of paediatric sepsis. Detecting and managing sepsis in the 'Golden Hour' saves lives. The video presents the 'escape room' learning concept integrated into immersive simulation, for detecting and managing a child with sepsis. The escape room timed activities enhances teamworking, communication and problem-solving as students work together to detect and manage a child with sepsis within the Golden Hour.
