Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth [Part 3] Deeper into Darkness

Last week we left off with reaching the Mythril Mines and exploring a bit of the Grasslands. Today we will head through and reach the Junon region where Chapter 4 takes place. We will also follow the hooded men who along the way run into a familiar enemy in Reno and Elena who make a reappearance. After taking them out Tseng shows up and the group once again is separated. Having to find a way back up as Barrett along with Red, we come across the Mythril Golem. After taking this out we successfully find a way to get everyone across and make our way out of the mines. Once out we see one of the men taken by a Phoenix and this is where we explore a bit of this new region. We speak with Gabe who runs the Chocobo stop, but are sent on a mission to find Belle. Once we do we can make our way up the mountain and make a stop Under Junon. We meet Rhonda who runs the town and she allows us in after realizing we are enemies of Shinra as well. We will explore a bit of this area and then continue to go find Wainwrights Hut where Freddy can be found. Using our Chocobo we can track the scent and bring all the parts back to Freddy to fix up and get Gabes Chocobo travel up and running. With this we can make our way back to Grasslands where I wanted to finish every side quest including helping Chloe with her flower crown and speaking with Mildred about repairing the Windmill. I also completed the mayors side quest of repairing the Mako leak with Kyrie who is revealed to be the hired merc. She was the granddaughter of the older woman we come across in Remake. After taking care of these including fighting the Quetzalcoatl for its parts we needed for windmill. I also went to explore the map to complete the towers, lifesprings and getting more intel. I also finally got to see the Moogles as there are mushroom caps around the world where we can trade moogle medals for rewards. Once we repair the windmill I went to speakin with Broden and we learn a bit about his history as a soldier. There are also the important Protorelic we can find using intel we come across including using our Chocobo to find items. I thought it would be cool to finish with some quests regarding the Protorelic which leaves us to finding it is in the hands of Beck and his crew. These are the bandits from Remake we had to track as they make a reappearance. After taking each of these out we finally find their hideout near Kalm and can finally get our hands on the first piece after making a deal. With this we get a Gilgamesh insight and we find there are others to collect. With this I head back to Junon where we will finish Chapter 4 next week.
