D&D Adventures Worth Owning | Merry Mushmen Interview

A chat with the Merry Mushmen about their Kickstarter — two massively expanded OSR adventures with duo-tone art and old-school fold-out covers. I sit down with Joseph R Lewis, Liam Pinkham-Sheridan, and Eric Nieudan to talk about the Horrendous Hounds of Hendenburgh and Raiding the Obsidian Keep. We cover what changed in the expanded editions, why the fold-out cover design works so well for GMs, and the advice they'd give to anyone thinking about publishing their own adventures. 0:00 Intro — the Kickstarter 0:20 Guest introductions (Joe, Liam, Eric) 2:41 Comparing original vs expanded adventure sizes 5:30 Obsidian Keep — the new 50+ room castle dungeon 10:29 Cover design — nostalgia meets GM usability 13:09 Hounds of Hendenburgh — Silver Mine, expanded hex crawl 15:03 Obsidian Keep favourites — the vampire, refugees, what happens after 23:08 Working with an editor vs solo publishing 29:11 Advice for aspiring adventure writers 36:05 What's next — Undying Sea, Shadow Dark, the Mushmen pipeline The Obsidian Keep: https://legacy.drivethrurpg.com/produ...
