Preserving Meat for the Shelf

Hey, We are canning up some ground beef today so we can have some protein for the shelf. Incase the power goes out or when beef comes to a high price of 10 bucks a pound. Ima save some money for the future and can it while I can still get it for about 4 bucks a pound.
