Ammay we ag akéw yu! (Good day everyone) Hello friends! 💚 Join me on a typical day in my hometown. Here in the province, days start before the sun rises. Most of the locals brave cold foggy mornings, rain or shine, to tend to their farms. I remember when I was little. Papa would pull our blankets away to force us out of bed. The elders would insist that waking up before sunrise is a must. Waking up after the sun rises is usually frowned upon. Coming back here now after living in the city for quite a while, I find it hard to do so. I wake up when most are already busy on their day. Living in the metro for a long time, my body clock have synced to the mostly nocturnal city life. Today, I woke up very late due to exhaustion. I didn't sleep much during our long trip, thus I did not have the energy to go with my sisters and cousins to another long trip to Ramon, Isabella to purchase some supplies. I decided to stay home and rest, to catch some fishes, and to spend time in the garden. Simple days like this of just being outdoors with family, doing things together, eating fresh food, enjoying nature, and just being in the moment, make me really happy. It is the way of life that I grew up in and that I am grateful for. It is peaceful and beautiful.
