The Model Y seats do not fold down flat, so car camping always means sleeping on a slope. I tested the Havnby FlatCore, an air mattress built to level it out, and slept on it for a full night in my Model Y. Get the Havnby FlatCore here: https://havnby.com/products/flatcore-... *this is an affiliate link, so using it supports the channel at no extra cost to you. I measured the angle before and after, tested it as a 6'4" (1.92m) sleeper, and ran Camp Mode overnight at 9 to 14 degrees Celsius outside to see how much battery it takes to stay warm. If you are planning a Model Y camping setup and want to know whether a self-leveling air mattress beats ramps, a bench removal or a regular mattress, this is for you. What you will see: Why the Model Y rear seats leave an angle when folded down Havnby FlatCore unboxing, pump and inflation time How loud the integrated pump is at a camp spot Comfort test for tall sleepers (head and leg support) Model Y camping setup with topper, pillow and blanket Camp Mode settings for a warm night Morning verdict and battery used overnight 00:00 - The Model Y sleeping problem 01:56 - Unboxing the FlatCore 03:17 - Inflating the mattress 05:02 - First comfort test 06:25 - Topper and bed setup 07:28 - Camp Mode night setup 08:07 - Morning verdict 09:23 - Camp Mode battery use Get 1000km of free supercharging on your Tesla order using my friend's referral link (mine has reached its yearly limit): https://ts.la/per98855 ▶ Follow me on Instagram @joel_eggimann ▶ Contact: joel@tues.at
