Composer: Raito (来兎)
Year: 2003
The boss(?) theme to Soft Circle French-Bread's "Drill Milky Punch," released in 2003 for Windows PCs. It's an instrumental remix of "Rumbling Hearts" from Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, apparently. I don't know anything about this franchise so if these songs are remixes hopefully a fan will comment the original song 12 years later when I'm already bald and demented. Anyways, this was actually one of the first games they developed under the new "French-Bread" name, after originally being known as Watanabe Seisakujo. Like most of their earlier games, it's based off a visual novel, this time Muv-Luv, featuring the characters from the novel in a 6-player twin-stick shooter where you survive against a giant horde of enemies for as long as possible. Sort of like Vampire Survivors but without the roguelike, for a more modern example. Add Muv-Luv to the giant list of visual novels you have to play if you wanna understand any anime fighting game made before 2015. As for the game, it's sensory overload brainrot and it's quite fun a for a bit. Just have fun trying to find 5 other people to play this with you.
The credits to this game list Raito as the composer, which checks out since he's been French-Bread's main composer for almost all their games since the beginning.
