What Makes the Witch King So Terrifying Even to Gandalf

Join us as we explore what made the Witch king of Angmar one of the most terrifying servants of Sauron and a threat powerful enough to confront even Gandalf. As the leader of the Nine Nazgûl, the Witch king had spent thousands of years spreading fear, destroying kingdoms, and carrying out the will of the Dark Lord. His power went far beyond physical strength. The Witch king wielded sorcery, inspired supernatural terror, commanded Sauron’s armies, and had already played a major role in destroying the northern kingdom of Arnor. During the War of the Ring, his power reached its height as he led the assault on Minas Tirith and eventually came face to face with Gandalf at the city gates. From the fall of Arnor to the siege of Gondor, this video explores the Witch king’s powers, his long history of destruction, his confrontation with Gandalf, and what made the Lord of the Nazgûl such a terrifying enemy.
