Smoky Railfanning Day in the Columbia River Gorge

After traveling for vacation, I decided to hit my favorite spot for railfanning: the Columbia River Gorge. Because of the continued wildfires throughout the Pacific Northwest, there was a small haze in the morning hours. But as the hours passed it progressively got worse and worse to the point that I had to end the day in the early afternoon when I saw the air quality was "unhealthy" and made the trek home #railfan #unionpacific #oregon
