It seems as though Sega punished Evander in this sequel to his own Genesis game, since he had lost to Riddick Bowe not long after the game’s release. That would explain why he is noticeably weaker here, in terms of both absorbing punishment and dishing it out. A funny game freeze glitch while fighting against Jack Dempsey is also featured prior to the actual successful run. Also includes bonus fights against the greatest fighters that I created during Career mode (Ivan Drago, Iron Mike, Real Deal, The Beast), as well as a perfect mirror match against Evander Holyfield himself. While the Tournament mode fights occurred during the same run, the bonus fights took place on PLAYER 1 VS CPU Exhibition mode on a fight per fight basis. Played by Daniel “DTysonator” Teixeira from May to June 2nd of 2016 on an original model 1 Sega Genesis console while using an official 6 button Sega Genesis controller, the official Greatest Heavyweights Sega Genesis cartridge, with absolutely no cheating devices or rapid fire/turbo buttons. #retrogame #videogame #evanderholyfield #boxingvideogame #segagenesis
