SECTION. presents softchaos from Berlin. softchaos is Tere Stout, an Ecuadorian-American multidisciplinary artist who came to the booth through visual art, writing and archival research, and treats DJing as an extension of that practice. They DJ with a foundation in focused, uncompromising techno. They cut their teeth in Barcelona as resident DJ and co-director of world-renowned clubs and arts collectives before moving to Berlin. The bookings tell the rest: Tresor, RSO, Fabric, ADE, UNFOLD, Corsica Studios, Sónar Festival and Primavera Sound, with 2026 moving fastest of all, a Pride mix for Rinse France and US debuts in Los Angeles and San Francisco landing within two months of each other.
