4th Convocation GSV-2026

4th Convocation of Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya, scheduled on 17 July 2026 (Friday) at Vadodara at 3:00 PM onwards. Shri Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, Hon. Civil Aviation Minister of India shall be the Chief Guest, while the Minister of Railways, Information & Broadcasting, Electronics & Information Techology (Govt of India) Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw shall deliver the Chancellor's Address via Video Message. Shri E. Sreedharan Ji, Former Managing Director, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, shall join the ceremony as the Guest of Honour. Shri E. Sreedharan, popularly known as the “Metro Man of India” shall join as the Guest of Honor. Several distinguished guests including Dr. Hemang Joshi, Rajmata Shubhanginiraje Gaekwad and Samir Kumar Sinha, who all are the members of GSV Court, shall grace the occasion with their presence. A total of 121 students shall be awarded their degrees from B.Tech and MBA programs of study. For the first time, GSV shall also award the MBA degrees to working professionals in the Metro Rail Management as well as Logistics & Supply Chain Management, reflecting its focus on continuing education and upskilling. Further, Gold Medals for academic excellence across various branches of study, Outstanding Project award and the Best Graduating Student award of 2026 shall be conferred at the convocation. A special highlight of the convocation shall be the First-ever PhD degree of GSV being conferred, on Honoris Causa basis, to Sh. E. Sreedharan in recognition to his outstanding contributions to the field of transportation and infrastructure in India.
