Speaker: Dr Melanie Tan Presentation Title: EPIC Reporting (Please note small sections of the talk are hidden to protect patient identifiable information) Bio: I trained at Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School and graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine 2002. I then completed six months in A&E as senior house officer at the Royal London & Homerton hospitals before starting anaesthetic training in North Thames region. I completed an extra year in neurointensive care,the spent three months in acute medicine & was awarded CCT in 2015. I joined UCLH as a consultant anaesthetist in 2016 and I am currently studying for an MBA. Current additional job roles • Epic lead for digital transformation in theatres & anaesthesia • Perioperative lead for the bladder cystectomy service • Trustwide lead for pre-assessment (streamlining processes & high risk services – there are also individual site leads for pre-assessment anaesthetists) Specialties Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine Research interests Digital healthcare, Uro-oncology, Perioperative medicine Recorded via Zoom on the 30 March 2021.
