Summer Hiking in Volda | The Place Where It All Started

Join us for a summer hike to Rotsethornet in Volda, Norway, as we return to the place where our story began. Volda is where we first met while studying many years ago, so it's always special to come back. On this trip, we hiked Rotsethornet, one of Volda's most iconic mountains. Despite a rainy forecast and slippery trails, we tackled the steep route with ladders, ropes, scrambling, and plenty of mud before reaching the summit. From the top we enjoyed the incredible panoramic views over Volda, the surrounding fjord, and the Sunnmøre mountains. We then took the longer route back down and finished the day with a well-deserved burger. Along the way, we also share highlights from our visit to Runde, including footage of the famous puffins.
