Leaf Drum

Lyrics: Rain on the pavement On dry leaves, cracked and thin Each drop lands like a click Like a clock with a skin I watch the trees let go Slow gold in the gray The wind folds up the sidewalk And carries me away Falling leaves Under the rain Falling leaves Under the rain Drum my name again Falling leaves, falling leaves Turn the day to a trance I hear the ground say my name In a leaf-born dance Brittle fires in the gutter Brown sparks in the street The puddles keep their mirrors But the sky won't repeat Your shadow in the branches Then gone with the gust I step through that soft ending Like a thought turned to dust Falling leaves Under the rain Falling leaves Under the rain Drum my name again Falling leaves, falling leaves Turn the day to a trance I hear the ground say my name In a leaf-born dance #industrialmusic #ebm #futurepop #newmusic
