The family members have been identified as Mahesh, 37; his wife Lalita, 35; their sons Laddu, 11, and Sakshat, 3, and daughter Mishti, 7. The incident occurred in Nagla Shri Padam village, said police. DCP Greater Noida Shrawan Kumar Singh said that prima facie the possible cause of deaths could be food poisoning. “The five family members reached home at 10:30 pm on Friday, had dinner and then slept. According to a family member, they also drank tea before sleeping,” he said, adding that they were found dead in the morning. Officers said the police are still awaiting the post-mortem and forensic reports as food samples have been taken for examination to identify the cause of the deaths.
