🎷🔥 MR SAX MICKEY VEE — AVEC LES FILLES, JE NE SAIS PAS | PHILIPPE LAVIL SAX REMIX 🇫🇷 BRINGING THE GOLDEN ERA OF FRENCH MUSIC BACK TO LIFE — ONE SAX NOTE AT A TIME! Some songs bring back memories. Others bring back an entire era! For my latest release, I've taken inspiration from the fantastic French classic “Avec les filles, je ne sais pas” by Philippe Lavil, originally released in 1970. This playful French song captured the spirit of its time, and when I discovered it, something about its distinctive style immediately caught my attention. It reminded me of my younger years, the friendships, the cheeky pickup lines, the dancing, and the unforgettable atmosphere of those good old days. 😂 My friends would try every pickup line imaginable on me, thinking they had the secret to winning over the ladies! But when it was my turn, I had a different approach. 🎷 I LET MY SAXOPHONE DO THE TALKING! When I stepped onto the dancefloor with my saxophone, I didn't need any clever lines. The music spoke for me, the rhythm took over, and the dancefloor told the rest of the story! That feeling inspired me to bring this classic back with my own saxophone instrumental interpretation. ❤️ A TRIBUTE TO PHILIPPE LAVIL AND THE GOLDEN DAYS OF FRENCH MUSIC My aim as Mr Sax Mickey Vee is to rediscover the incredible French tracks of the 1970s and introduce them to a new generation through saxophone covers and remixes. These songs were created by artists who put passion, personality, and meaning into their music. Every melody had character, every rhythm had a purpose, and behind every song was a story worth remembering. I want to honour that musical heritage while giving these classics a fresh identity through my saxophone. For those who remember the original, I hope this version brings back wonderful memories. For those discovering it for the first time, I hope it inspires you to explore the music that made previous generations dance. 🎶 MY MISSION IS SIMPLE: REVIVE THE CLASSICS, REINVENT THE SOUND, AND RECONNECT GENERATIONS. This isn't just about looking back. It's about bringing the best musical styles of the past into today's world and giving them a new life. Because great music never gets old. And sometimes, the most powerful words are played rather than spoken. 🎷 MR SAX MICKEY VEE — WHERE THE SAX DOES THE TALKING! 👇 LET'S BRING THE MEMORIES BACK! 🇫🇷 Do you remember Philippe Lavil's original version? 🕺 Did you dance to French classics like this back in the day? 🎷 Which 1970s French song would you love to hear me remix with my saxophone next?
