Before the New 2027 Kawasaki… Let’s Bring These Classics Back!

drove to North Carolina to pick up TWO classic Kawasaki stand-up jet skis — a Kawasaki X2 and a 650 SX! Both of these skis had been sitting for around 20 YEARS, with someone slowly working on them a little bit at a time. Now they're finally getting a chance to come back to life. In Part 1, we're getting both Kawasakis home, checking them over, and starting the process of getting them WATER-READY. After sitting this long, there's plenty to go through before these old-school stand-ups see the water again. With Kawasaki bringing back new stand-up models for 2027, I thought it was the perfect time to dig into these older Kawasaki stand-ups and see what made the X2 and 650 SX so special.
