HeroQuest Card Creator - Advancements To Pairing 0.5.3

Hi! I’m Mark, the developer of the HeroQuest Card Creator, and in this short video I’m demonstrating some upcoming features planned for version 0.5.3. This update focuses on a major improvement to the card pairing system, which was first introduced in v0.5.2 as an early step toward future features like PDF export and print-ready decks. In v0.5.3, pairing has been expanded beyond the simple “one front, one back” approach. You can now create more flexible sets, where a single card front can belong to multiple backs (and vice versa). This makes it much easier to organise things like treasure cards that can also exist as inventory items, potions, relics, armour, charms, and more. The new pairing UI is also cleaner and more integrated into the Inspector, making it faster to manage larger collections of cards and build structured decks. This work is also laying the foundation for an upcoming feature I’m calling Decks, which will allow you to group multiple sets together and eventually export entire decks in one click — fully laid out for printing with bleed, guides, and duplex support.
