Indonesia Training Camp - Day 6 (Am I getting better?)

I’ve broken two boards too many now. I’m down to my California Epoxy boards, but they are working great for me—except for one that i pulled the leash through the tail on (getting it repaired now). A lot of my surfing felt connected today, but there’s another level of rail engagement I want to experience. The physics and body mechanics of a frontside down carve is anything but simple. Trying to be natural while also informing myself where my limbs should be is interesting tug-of-war. Ultimately the goal is speed and spray… but also looks haha. Thank you God for a safe trip so far.
