Reversing is also the most common cause of minor collisions there. Europe is already around 10% short of the bus drivers it needs, and retirements are expected to widen the gap. To help with that, autonomy has to work with an empty driver's seat. ℹ️ About SmartDEPOT SmartDEPOT is an autonomous driving system for city buses inside the depot, developed by Autonomous Systems in Gliwice, Poland.
