I’m trackside at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Mo. I’ve included bits of onboard footage. The ride lasts approximately 20-25 minutes including a train robbery skit. Steam Engine 43 Fact Tech Specs: • Manufacturer: Orenstein & Koppel (O&K) in Berlin, Germany • Built: 1934 • Power: 50 Horsepower • Track Gauge: 2-foot narrow gauge • Wheel Configuration: Originally built as an 0-4-0T tank engine. It was modified into a 2-4-0T wheel arrangement for many years at Silver Dollar City to improve tracking but was converted back to its original 0-4-0T configuration during a major 2019 overhaul.
