Washington Commanders Are Defending Champ KILLERS — Marcus Mariota Stuns Seattle Seahawks

COMMANDERS NATION, WAKE UP! THE WASHINGTON COMMANDERS HAVE SHOCKED THE ENTIRE NFL! Without franchise quarterback Jayden Daniels, Washington marched into the hostile territory of Lumen Field and pulled off the biggest stunner of the 2026 NFL season, knocking off the reigning champion Seattle Seahawks 33-31 and snapping their 12-game winning streak! Veteran quarterback Marcus Mariota delivered the defining performance of his career. Stepping in under immense pressure, Mariota orchestrated Kliff Kingsbury’s offense with surgical precision, throwing for 183 yards and 3 touchdowns while committing ZERO turnovers against a Seattle defense that had allowed just 8.5 points per game. And when the game was on the line, Mariota iced the victory with a fearless red-zone scramble that silenced the Pacific Northwest! Captain Terry McLaurin rose to the moment with 6 clutch catches, 77 yards, and a spectacular end-zone score, while Washington's defense delivered the fatal blow—forcing Sam Darnold into a fourth-quarter pick-six that flipped the entire game upside down! Dan Quinn's culture of relentless pursuit has taken root, proving the Commanders can compete with anyone, anytime, anywhere.
