I gave a 3D printed Darth Vader helmet a full mirror black finish — and it looks terrifyingly good. Here's exactly how I did it, step by step. Using graphite powder, I transformed a raw 3D print into a deep, reflective black finish that looks like Vader just stepped off the screen. If you've ever wanted to get a stunning mirror finish on a 3D print, this is the video for you. What's covered in this build:
3D printing the Darth Vader helmet
Sanding and prep work
Applying the graphite powder for a two tone mirror black finish
Achieving that deep, ultra-reflective look
Tips to avoid common mistakes
