Jack and Jill of America: Is It Still Valuable for Families Today?

Is Jack and Jill of America still valuable for families today? As a mom and active member, I'm sharing my honest experience with Jack and Jill of America and the value our family has found in the organization. In this video, I'm talking about why our family joined Jack and Jill, what our experience has actually been like, and why we've continued to make room for it in an already busy life. I recently attended my first Jack and Jill of America National Convention in Baltimore, and it had me thinking about the bigger question of what this organization adds to our lives. For our family, the value goes beyond simply having another activity on the calendar. I talk about the community, relationships, experiences, exposure and opportunities that have made our Jack and Jill experience meaningful, as well as why I believe being intentional about how you participate matters. Because the older I get, the less interested I am in doing things simply because I feel like I'm supposed to. "Doing it all" isn't about doing everything. It's about making room for the people, experiences and things that bring joy and value to your life alongside all of the responsibilities that aren't going anywhere.
