Moses Itauma Won Every Round BUT Filip Hrgovic Won The War

Moses Itauma was supposed to be the future. Twenty-one years old, unbeaten, the second coming, and for seven rounds at the O2 he looked every bit of it. Then his gas tank emptied and Filip Hrgovic was still standing, still coming forward, still chewing through everything the kid had. Croatia has its first heavyweight world champion, and he got there on the one thing you cannot coach. We break down how inexperience won every round and lost the war, why the chin does not tire the way a gas tank does, and why we should be celebrating what Itauma did rather than burying him for it. He gave us exactly what we asked for. Maybe that was the whole problem. Filip Hrgovic, Moses Itauma, Abel Sanchez, Ben Davison, IBF heavyweight title, O2 Arena.
