Join me on this walking video through Daraga, Bicol, Philippines — a town living beneath Mayon Volcano, the Philippines’ most active volcano 🇵🇭 I spent the day walking through Daraga's streets and market, along disused railway tracks once used by the Bicol Express, the historic passenger service that connected Bicol with Manila, and through the quieter corners of town. Along the way, everyday life unfolds around us: vendors selling fresh produce, tricycles weaving through the crowds, and people simply going about their day. You wouldn’t necessarily know an active volcano was nearby at all — until, later in the walk, Mayon finally reveals itself, half-hidden in cloud. This is part of “Wish You Were Here?” — a series of silent, immersive walks that let you experience a place as it actually is, without narration or a script. Just the sounds, sights and rhythm of everyday life. Welcome to The Wander Life 🌴
