THE ENEMY CAN’T DESTROY A THANKFUL HEART | Bill Johnson

What if thankfulness is far more powerful than simply having a positive attitude? In this message, Bill Johnson explores the spiritual power of gratitude, maturity, prayer, and learning to remain aware of God’s goodness in every circumstance. Drawing from 1 Thessalonians 5 and 1 Timothy 4, this sermon reveals why rejoicing, praying without ceasing, and giving thanks are not merely emotional reactions—they are disciplined choices that shape character and prepare believers to carry more of God’s presence. Discover how thankfulness can keep prayer focused, protect your perspective, strengthen you through criticism and adversity, and even take the sting out of circumstances intended to harm you. God does not expose weakness to shame us; He reveals what needs transformation so that greater maturity, freedom, and spiritual strength can be formed within us. When gratitude becomes a lifestyle, circumstances no longer control your inner world. You learn to remain conscious of God’s goodness, pray from faith instead of fear, and navigate difficulty without losing your awareness of His presence. #BillJohnson #BethelChurch #BillJohnsonSermon #Thankfulness #PresenceOfGod
