Anansee Stories 🇹🇹

Anansee Stories TX is inspired by Anansi the Spider, the legendary trickster of the Akan storytelling traditions from present-day Ghana known for using his wit, cleverness and storytelling to overcome those stronger than himself. His stories crossed the Atlantic with enslaved west Africans and took deep roots throughout the Caribbean. This song celebrates that journey. This is where the inspiration for this channel began: to celebrate music, folklore and culture
