Mill Hill Festival of Music, Speech and Drama, in London Sunday 10th May 2026 Lucian Azoitei - age 14 First Prize 🏆 Haydn Cello Concerto in C - 1: Moderato Lalo Cello Concerto in D - 1: Preludio: Lento – Allegro maestoso (exposition) Poor Luci got a temperature at this compeition and started feeling like he was getting the flu! I dosed him up with paracetamol and coca-cola (feeling like the worst mother in the world) and he did an amazing job to get through it!! The poor pianist (who is incredible and was sightreading!) didn’t have time to rehearse with him because he wasn’t well enough, so they came apart at the end but I’m so proud of Luci for making it through.
