Forever Open Changed the Rules, Then the Duels Got Out of Hand

The WoW Forever Open was a $100K dueling tournament on WoW Forever, and by Sunday night (Oct 18) the bracket was hours behind. TipsOut announced on the main broadcast that duels would run concurrently, many of them off stream. Lower-bracket players went back to back with no cooldown resets, since rule 10.6 says you can't wait for cooldowns. Cdew called it "kind of unfair," and Pikaboo said "they switched up the duel rules like three times." On top of that, fear-outs were ruled a re-duel for Minpojke and a loss for Jazz, Pilav and NoHitJerome. Also in this video: warlock balance (15 Paladins and 14 Warlocks went 6-0 on day one, and zero Warriors did), Hydra's review of Kasu's duel, Pshero and EU ping, and what Pikaboo said in the organizers' defense. RESULT: Warlockguy won the Forever Open, beating Neepzen 3-1 in the grand final (best of five, no bracket reset) after coming back through the lower bracket. It was Warlock vs Warlock, just like Sodapoppin said: "These warlocks actually are going to run this tournament." Every claim in this video is credited to the person who made it. Anything that isn't confirmed, like the exact reason for Jerome's DQ, is labeled "reportedly."
