EKKI HOMA Launches the All-New LINUS HYNA Clog-Defence Sewage Submersible Pumps EKKI HOMA, The International JV between EKKI Group and HOMA of Germany, has launched LINUS HYNA, a new range of clog-defence sewage submersible pumps engineered to address one of the wastewater industry’s most persistent challenges: debris-related blockages. The new range was unveiled at IFAT India, a leading wastewater technology exhibition held in Mumbai. Designed for demanding sewage applications, LINUS HYNA combines robust construction with the proprietary German-engineered Tri-Action™ System, designed to pull, shear and shred difficult solids and fibrous debris before they can cause clogging or restrict flow. Inspired by the resilience and powerful bite of the hyena which has a bite force of more than 1,100 PSI the HYNA Tri-Action™ System is built like a HYENA to tackle the demanding solids and fibrous debris commonly found in sewage applications. At the heart of the Tri-Action™ System is a three-stage approach: PULL. SHEAR. SHRED. The system pulls debris into the cutting chamber, shear-cuts through difficult materials and then grind-shreds them into finer particles. This is designed to support continuous flow and help reduce the risk of blockages in challenging wastewater environments. With German-engineered cutting and grinding components, LINUS HYNA is designed to provide effective clog defence and help reduce interruptions, maintenance requirements and the operational impact of blocked pumps.
