this book transformed my creative process

“A river of material flows through us. When we share our works and our ideas, they are replenished. And an artist is free to release them with the faith that more will arrive.” The Creative Act by Rick Rubin (p. 201) I finished this book in February and WOW did it have an impact on me! I have so many thoughts and things i want to say/do/make/create and this feels like just the beginning. Creative energy is flowing through me and I feel like I've broken the dam(s) that held it all in. This week I challenged myself to follow my creative ideas/impulses when they surfaced and it was such an informative week! I toyed with experimentation, dabbled in play, and even had some creative breakthroughs on a project I've been thinking about for years.10/10 recommend, really.
