Want to have an affordable, portable recording studio? This video takes you from the beginning: Getting a Kit for Raspberry Pi 5, putting the case together, loading the OS and software, connecting a USB Audio Interface, and setting up to record music. Even though I already have a nice Mac for recording, this is often in a different location from my music gear, so having a dedicated computer for this is handy to getting my music recorded. So far, I've been using Reaper DAW on this and its been doing everything I need to record music. I found Bitwig Studio should run on a Rasp5 too, but its more $$ and I'm not sure I need all of its features. I'm sure it will be perfect for some. Also looking at Renoise and Hydrogen for other kinds of music functions on the Rasp Pi and see how they go.
