2026 Ather Konarc - True Chetak and iQube Rival? | First Ride

We have ridden the newly launched Ather Konarc electric scooter for around 50-60km across city roads, open highways, good roads and some really bad stretches to find out whether it is truly abuse-friendly and, more importantly, whether it fulfills the company’s purpose of targeting the North Indian market. The Ather Konarc is available in three variants - S100, S125 and S161, priced at Rs 1 lakh, Rs 1.22 lakh and Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively. Prices for the Z125 and Z161 variants are yet to be announced. The Konarc S 100 gets a 2.1kWh battery pack and offers a claimed IDC range of 100km, while the S 125 variant features a larger 2.7kWh battery pack and delivers a claimed 125km IDC range. The top-end S 161 variant is equipped with a 3.5kWh battery pack and offers a claimed 161km IDC range. Ather Energy is also planning a 200km IDC-range version of the Konarc, which is scheduled to arrive at a later date. The new Ather Konarc is one of the most feature-rich electric scooters in its segment. It gets advanced electronic braking system (AEBS), MagicKey, AutoPop boot function, Google Maps and WhatsApp on the dashboard, live scores, Ather Connect, OTA (over-the-air) updates, a 7-inch DeepView Display (on higher variants), Park assist reverse, autohold and a 31-litre underseat storage compartment.
