Do we need Video cameras in Airplane Cockpits ?

Air India 171 Crash has reignited the age old debate on whether we need video cameras recording pilot actions in airplane Cockpits. . NTSB has been recommending this since 25 years. But it has never been implemented due to opposition from pilot unions... Main concerns are around Privacy, Misuse, monitoring etc. But having cameras in cockpit is a necessity now and it will help crash investigations in a big way making flying safer in future.
